Haven't seen any posts from you in a while, How is island life now that it's been a few months?? How did the country thing work out at the bar?? Now,on to the real reason for this post. I was just wondering how the motorcycle has worked out for you on STT?? I know, I have read a lot of posts against bringing bikes/motorcycles/scooters down on the rock, but you did. So, I want to know if it's worth bringing our scooter for getting around red hook and MAYBE other parts of the rock. If you have anything else new or informative you'd like to share, I'd be interested to hear. We will be down on the rock in a few short weeks. I hope your still on here I tried to find you on Lovetolime but no luck. ~Cherie

You interested in losing an appendage? If so, then a scooter would be fine. Hahahaha. I was just down there and the road condition in Red Hook is crap. Not to mention two lane highways, major hills and other drivers.

I'd rather swim with sharks. Good luck.

About motorcycles... not the best unless you plan to live/ride in town. I live on the west end, the terrain makes it tricky. Also, I registered the bike when I got here 6 mths ago, and by chance looked at the registeration, and to my surprise it was only good for 6 mths. i was told I have to re-register and have the bike inspected EVERY 6 MONTHS!!!! ONE trip to the BMV is more than enough for me in a year, I would rather slit my wrists then go twice a year! You will notice the motorcyclists here seem to have a death wish, they ride in between cars, on the center line, or anywhere they can squeeze in to! I don't know about you, but I plan to hang around a while, and will continue to ride in my OWN LANE! Good luck!
