Tropical Storm 14, soon to be Hurricane Maria is making a bee-line towards St. Thomas. And this one looks like it’s going right over us. Expect winds of 35-69 miles an hour and torrential rain Saturday and Sunday (unless it’s speed changes). I would also expect some flooding in the usual spots in St. Thomas.

I did. My house was shaking for about 7 seconds. This is the first earthquake I’ve seriously felt since moving here 5 years ago. It happened about 12:30am. Write in if you’ve heard of any damage.
