Veterans BBQ Fundraiser – May 24 from noon – 7:00 pm at Mini Mango’s
A benefit for Virgin Islands veterans is scheduled for Sunday, May 24 from noon – 7:00 pm at Mini Mango’s, Havensight Mall. The public is invited, admission is free.
The fundraiser will feature a motorcycle show, barbeque chicken, hamburgers and hot dogs, prize raffle and commemorative T-shirt sale. Live music will be provided by “So High, So Low” and Puerto Rican classic rock band, “The Evidence”.
Virgin Islands veterans are invited to attend as honored guests and will be given a complimentary lunch and souvenir T-shirt (while supplies last).
All proceeds will go towards providing direct support to needy veterans in the USVI in the form of food and clothing vouchers. The event is endorsed by the Office of Veteran’s Affairs.
Sponsors include the Carib Riders Motorcycle Club, Buzz 104.3, WZIN, Mini Mango’s and Budweiser/West Indies Corporation. Supporters include Merchant’s Market and Westline Productions.
