How do you Vacation?
There are two types of vacationers in the world: A) those that want to relax and let their mind go soft over frozen drinks, and B) those that want to take in sights, culture and expand their mind with that thing called ‘knowledge’.
Scott falls under the A category, he prefers to vacation where the water is warm and drink umbrellas are mandatory.
I fall under the B category – my mother’s family lives in England and I’ve been to Europe a number of times. Of course this was all before I met Scott, since then I’ve drifted to the A category, but don’t worry, it’s not like he had to twist my arm or anything 
What category do you fall under? Are you someone who is dying to fly to Spain and enjoy breakfast at Hotels Madrid Norte before heading out to look at stunning and historic architecture?
Or perhaps you’d prefer to take a few steps our of your oceanfront hotel, put your toes in the warm sand and let the soft waves lull you into a nap while your unread book sits on your lap.
Do you find yourself looking at Amsterdam hotels and thinking about the cool wooden shoes and beer steins you would pick up as souvenirs?
Or do you picture yourself on a boat, in-between St. John and St. Thomas, with a fishing pole and a cooler of beer, not minding if you even get a bite because the day is so perfect…
Maybe you’ve always wanted to go to Portugal and you’re searching through Lisbon hotels; or you just watched Life is Beautiful for the fifth time and you’re picturing a dreamy vacation with your significant other in one of the many romantic hotels in Florence. I’ve been to Italy once, and absolutely loved it. I’d love to go back!
Where do you fit in, are you an A or a B traveler? Have you already taken in Europe and it’s nothing but Caribbean for you or do you like to switch it up? Maybe you’re just not that interested in Europe and all you want to do on vacation is work on your tan lines…
Maybe now that Scott has made his umbrella-in-my-drink vacation dreams a permanent lifestyle he might be open to hopping across the pond to Europe? I’ll keep ya posted on that one!

I’m kind of in between, I’m moving to St. Thomas to tame my A side…lol. I love Europe, but it’s kind of the same concept…Amsterdam? I have stories, let me tell you. That’s an A destination even though it’s FREAKING COLD!
